OutlookFolders

OutlookFolders for MS Outlook allows multi-user access to all data in Outlook. Share contacts, emails, tasks, calendar, journals and document in in MS Outlook without installing a complex dedicated server such as the MS Exchange server. Protect your private data from access by applying rights to folders, profiles or Outlook data.

Simply install OutlookFolders centrally on any network PC and make this PC thereby to a server, then from 2 up to 75 users (*1) can access Outlook at the same time.

Whether it concerns contacts, dates, tasks or the post office entrance and/or exit. A central enterprise wide access to an Outlook structure is possible, optionally write and reader rights can be assigned.

All employees can use the same contacts. Each employee can for example see who has an appointment at what time or who is busy with which task. On this central Outlook, you have exactly the same access as on your personal Outlook file. All built-in functions in the public file remain. An already existing network does not have to be changed.

That means, you can realize your network also with different MS Outlook or MS operating system versions.

OutlookFolders is not a synchronisation program and not load thus the network, it is like the MS Exchange®  Server or the Lotus Domino/Notes®  a so mentioned its own "Store Provider".

With larger installations the Microsoft Exchange Server® is still the best solution. OutlookFolders however can be used in a Exchange environment e.g. in order to relieve the MS Exchange server. For example a department can work on certain data with OutlookFolders, while each job is connected with a Exchange server at the same time

The functionality of OutlookFolders extends a QSynchronization program for Notebooks and Home PC`s as well as an integrated QMailserver for the internal and external E-Mail dispatch.

Serveradministration:

The file structure, the users and the connection to the InterNet administered on the OutlookFoldersServer with Outlook. Each user with knowledge in MS Outlook can administer thus the system. It will even NT a Domain not needed, each computer starting from Windows 95 can as OutlookFoldersServer be used. A special, administrator program which can be used simply administers the rights of access on the files. Here can be adjusted whether and which files with which rights other users are made available.

Depending upon assigned write and reading rights, you read at the same time, you write  at the same time in, and/or from each Outlook in your network. Approved files behave thereby on the Clientseite similar to a public file of a MS Exchange or Small Business Server.

QMail (Freeware)

Qmail substitutes the dialogue with entrance of a new E-Mail. All important data of the detailed Email are indicated, e.g. Email address, reference, message text. Qmail replaces the dialogue with entrance of a new Mail. All important data of the detailed Mail are indicated: e.g. sender, reference, message text.
