    IDE is, unlike SCSI, commonly used in most newer PC's

    To circumvent some hardware problems that can occur with
    IDE systems, use the kernel parameter:


    ide=nodma    -- switch off dma for IDE drives

    How to boot this Live media from a CDROM / USB-stick device:

    Enable the boot option in your computers BIOS to boot from [CDROM] device first.
    Hit the [F2], [F8], [F10], [F11], [F12] or [DEL] key upon rebooting your PC. All 
    computers are a little different, so please refer to the PC's computer manual if 
    you cannot figure it out.
