For Solaris 7 release, refer to the man pages for instructions on using 'patchadd' and 'patchrm' scripts provided with Solaris. Any other special or non-generic installation instructions should be described below as special instructions. The following example installs a patch to a standalone machine: example# patchadd /var/spool/patch/104945-02 The following example removes a patch from a standalone system: example# patchrm 104945-02 For additional examples please see the appropriate man pages. Special Install Instructions: ----------------------------- The time format for the cklist files changes with this patch and they must be regenerated after installing the patch. This can by done by the superuser: 1. Before installing the patch, run aset(1m) at the desired security levels and mark files that are shown modified in the report. 2. Rename the cklist.low, cklist.med, and cklist.high files in /usr/aset/maseter/ to cklist.low.orig, cklist.med.orig, chlist.high.orig 3. Run aset(1m) at the desired level to regenerate the cklist file. 4. Determine for each file reported modified by unpatched aset(1m) if the status of the file should be carried forward to new cklist reports. These entries should be edited in the new cklist file to have the changed parameters from the saved cklist file.
