        Notes: I'm not responsible for this port of GNU EMACS; Vincent
		       LADEUIL (vladeuil@mygale.org) did the port, and I got
			   his patches, plus the source code, out of Fred Fish's
			   (fnf@ninemoons.com) CVS repository
			   (see ftp://ftp.ninemoons.com/pub/be/geekgadgets/README for
			   details about Fred's CVS repository).  I built this using
			   GNU C and the other tools from Fred Fish's GeekGadgets
			   collection, and I'm making it available in a (hopefully :-)
			   read-to-run format for the EMACS fans in the Be community.

			   Unpack this in /boot and it'll fit right into your
			   GeekGadgets hierarchy; if you don't have anything else from
			   GeekGadgets installed (why don't you? it's nice to have a
			   second compiler around to get another opinion on strange
			   warnings/errors), you'll have to add this to your .profile:

			   export PATH=/boot/gg/bin:$PATH
			   export INFOPATH=/boot/gg/info

			   Then, go ". .profile", or open a new Terminal.  Start
			   EMACS by typing "emacs" and go get a coffee (actually, it
			   doesn't take _that_ long to start up, but it's not instant).
