Short: Screengrab of 912x612x64colour workbench super72 screenmode Author: cpbj101@york.ac.uk Uploader: cpbj101 york ac uk Type: pix/wb Architecture: generic Well here we are again, haven't uploaded a screen grab in a while. From the grab I have found a great little utility called Picticon_V1.4. This basically takes your picture and then transfers this pictured, scaled and rendered down to the amount of colours on your screenmode. I have the luxury of having a 912x612x64 colour display, and it runs very well because I have a Blizzard 1240T(erc) under the bonnet which allows me this extravigance. And as you can see from the screen grab that it seems to work well. I did have new icons running but it was a bit too slow for my liking. Will probaably go back to it at some point especially if the new version 4 is considerably faster. I also include a sysinfo pic of my current system. No idea why it is going at nearly a .50 Mip quicker than what it should be, although i'm not complaining. :-) My actual system is the following. A1200/040/40MHz/18Mb/407Mb/2.4xscsiCD-ROM/Microvitec1438. I,love my Amiga and can't use any other computer, well i can but none of the other computers out there even come close for the ease of use, etc. Well lets hope Gateway 2000 don't make the same mistake as the other companies have. Long live the Amiga and all those who use her. :-) If you want to find out a bit more about the 1240T(erc) then feel free to drop into my web site at http://www.york.ac.uk/~cpbj101/1240.html I need help in gathering info so if any of you out there have a 1240T(erc) then please feel free to drop me an e-mail, or just to comment on the screen grab. Ta ta for now. Chris.
