This directory contains the HTML, Frame and Adobe PDF versions of the 
NCSA Mosaic for Microsoft Windows Users Guide v2.1.  

The Adobe Portable Document Format(PDF) files are self contained and
can be viewed or printed using Adobe Acrobat.  Adobe Acrobat is a
PDF file viewer that is freely available from:

The HTML and Frame Maker versions contain files that exceed the old DOS 
8.3 naming convention.  Since Windows 3.1x is built on top of DOS, it 
will truncate the file names to conform to the 8.3 standard.  As a result,
most of the inline image files will not appear under Windows 3.1x.  To keep 
these files intact, you should use or serve the files from a Windows 95 or 
Windows NT system.

Use these files by:
- downloading the files into a seperate directory
- Unzip the file using a zip program that preserves long file names (eg. WinZip)
- load index.* into your viewer
